New Beginings

As winter tries to take its hold on the city of Chicago, I am progressing through a self proclaimed Spring.  Its  time of renewal and rejuvenation.  I recently finished up my tenure on the night shift at CVS as a manager.  It was a challenging ordeal , but I must be thankful.  Changing my sleep schedule, losing touch with humanity, and accruing many 24+ hour days/night, were just some of the things that I had to endure.  But I must be grateful for the experience, after all, isn't life just the sum of our experiences.  To have done this is to say that I have one more event in my life from which to draw wisdom and strength.

I deservingly gave myself a delightful eleven day vacation before starting my new job.  I plan to use this time to (a) return to a normal sleep schedule and (b) try to get in touch with what I am doing where I am going and what my plans are for the next chapter in my life.  I am hoping to keep this space as authors notes, if you will.  Oh yeah, and (c) to take an awesome vacation with the love of my life to Florida to see my grandparents.

CAN'T WAIT!!

Just as a fill in, I will be starting a management training program for Menard's (Save Big Money) on November 22.  If anyone reading would pray a prayer for my success in this program.  It is a fast track to the top, so long as I do well.  All thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.

During this "spring time" in my life, i expect good and beautiful things.

We'll see.
